I’ve just finished an excellent week at The Lamb on the Strand near Semington where I was exhibiting with Andy Millar, Claire Benison and John Sansom.  This was a new venue for Cloth Road Arts Week and despite being away from the main cluster of venues we saw our fair share of visitors.  We managed to poach a few from the pub and send a few back through.
It was a delightful venue helped by the excellent welcome we received from Hannah and her staff, the tempting and delicious food on the menu and the excellent beer on offer.  Although as we were all driving we couldn’t indulge that part too much!  We were happy to welcome a very varied selection of visitors to view our work from amateur and professional artists alike, students of art and those who just like looking.
The Lamb on the Strand in Hannah’s more than capable hands is undergoing a metamorphosis into a place to be.  She as created a super friendly atmosphere where families are welcomed, there is a delightful garden outside, ample parking and have I mentioned the superb food.
The lamb on the Strand is a pub well worth visiting even without myself, Jon, Andy and Claire there so do make te trip, it’s well worth it.
